| The Vindication Race To the Top Guild Challenge! That's the word from up top. Vindication will direct all guild efforts toward having multiple raiding teams on Hard Mode Dragon Soul encounters. Check out this exciting new directive from the top of the guild, be a part, win big, and take home the gold and the tile of Top of the Guild! Team 1 is currently on Warmaster. Team 2 is on Spine. Team 3 is working the final boss, and Team 4 is undergoing restructuring this week and will resume Dragon Soul progression. Team 5 is almost completely placed and will begin this week or next, and Team 6 is forming. To apply for Team 5, talk to Ashtao or Atriel in game. This team will begin Dragon Soul progression in one week. Class Officer positions are available. To apply, visit the Class Officer Application forum. Applicants should be guildees in good standing, knowledgeable about all aspects of all builds of their respective class. Class officers are expected to be active on the forums, to post on the class forums, and to help develop their class within the guild. Ah the glory years! Vindication has deep roots, and we're once again in growth mode. As we begin experiencing an endgame reawakening we look back to our glory days for inspiration, direction, and consistency in guild vision. Thanks to those who came and took part in our Guild Arena event. We hung out at several locations due to fallout from our "curb" event (see lower down the page) but we managed to finish the video footage and the PvP events. Grats to all those who came out and participated, and grats to the winners. Video at bottom right section of page! Guild Bank Items: The Guild Bank is going to be liquidated. All items not directly related to the advancement of Vindication progression raiding and character development will be moved out. The bank will be looking to fill the tabs with content valuable to our raid progression. Let us know if you can help the cause. Loot! Vindication raid teams enjoy many benefits, including raiding with your fellow guildees, vent, guild paid raid repairs, and a fair loot system which helps you gear up quickly. Yes, many of you are in on this well-guarded guild mystery. Most of you look on with baffled confusion as the events unfold around you. It's our guild tradition of Welcoming people when they join OR leave the guild. Nobody knows quite when this tradition began, but it's gathered a life of its own. Many people look on in amusement as those who leave the guild are "welcomed" by some, while others respond with something like "but.....they just LEFT." There are many things that make Vindication unique, and this is undoubtedly one of them. Whatever the result, we encourage our people to have fun. And, more importantly, to make each other feel welcome. So feel free to "welcome" people out of the guild when necessary, but don't forget to "welcome" them in when they join as well. With any luck, they will also be helping you "welcome" the next person to gquit. Vindication has been around as a guild in one form or another since before the release of the Burning Crusade. Our vision has always been to provide a fun place for our friends to gather, free of the elitism that often plagues many guilds as their players get more geared. Back then, many level 60 characters (yes, that was the player cap in "vanilla wow") would rarely "lower themselves" to talk to a low-level player, much less bother to help them, unless they knew them already. While this wasn't the case with everyone, it was prevalent on our server. Vindication provided a guild where players leveled together, grew together, and geared together. Our present leadership includes many of those from "back in the day" who learned the hard way, and were not afraid to make mistakes to develop their game. We think it makes us more tolerant of others, and more helpful to new folks. |
Vindication Guild Changes Rank Changes: High Warlord: Guild Master: Polycratus Magnus. The Beef stops here. King of the Guild. Fearless Leader, our representative for the Horde, he of the many boxes, etc. etc. etc. He's a veteran of wow from the beginning, always ready to advance Vindication and the Horde. Warlord -- The Mighty Troll Overlord, second-in-command. Orkish shares the guild vision, goals, and drive, and is instrumental in carrying out these aims in the guild. He brings with him a rich history of experience in Vindication, Speak Orcish or Die, and a number of other guilds, and his leadership is exemplary. He is a veteran of all things Horde and has played extensively since Vanilla. BloodGuard -- This rank is made up of both of the Tier Chieftains (heads of the tiers of Vindication) and the GM Honor Guard. The Tier Chieftains lead two of the tiers of the body of Vindication. The GM Honor Guard is the third tier, and answers to the GM and the Warlord. These top tier officers carry out the Guild Vision and have extensive authority, guild bank access, and oversee the direction of the guild. GoldMinion -- Darkmakulos.This is the guild economic officer, responsible for managing the guild bank and finances to support guild activities. HatchetMinion -- These officers serve to help recruit to fill specific needs for specific raid teams, as well as function in helping Team Leaders meet the needs of the raid teams. They provide assistance in event scheduling, raiding resource acquisition, and other needs of Team Leaders. They answer to their Team Leader as well as to their Tier Chieftain (Kiashie). ArchMinion -- These serve in specific areas such as Class Officer, Raiding Officer, Problem Resolution Officer, PVP Officer, etc. and answer directly to their Tier Chieftain. BloodMinion -- This rank is reserved for members of Vindication raiding teams. You are promoted to this rank when you have shown the gear level, skill, and attitude necessary to be a regular team member on a guild raiding team. You are required to have regular, reliable attendance, and a good attitude. This rank gives access to guild Repairs during official guild raids. Minion -- This is our guild rank for guildees not currently on a raiding team. These members wear the name of Vindication with pride and honor, For the Horde! Vindication raiding is in the form of six 10 man teams. Check the guild raiding chart for more information. If you wish to be part of the raiding in Vindication, go to our forum and post on the forums under the team section you wish to join. The fastest way to get into a raiding team for Vindication are: 1.) Sign up on the forum, 2.) Log in and go to the Raiding Signup forum, 3.) Post to the raid signup topic. Include your in-game character's name, your spec, the days and times you can raid. Any other info is extra but appreciated, like raid experience, etc. Benefits of raiding in the guild as opposed to pugging your raids: The guild offers you the chance to raid with friendly people who all want the guild to advance. Most likely the raiding team will be already geared from having run the same raids repeatedly. You are more likely to get that item that drops in a guild run because you run with the same people each week. Also, the guild offers the same raid times each week, and pays your raid repair costs. The guild also brings buffs including the new feasts and cauldrons to help you do your best in each raid at no cost to you.  Rogues are in fashion once again. Yes, it's hard to imagine, but once again rogues are the craze. With the latest legendary quest, everyone and their brother is rolling a rogue. Each team has room for one rogue, so you can see the dilemma. While we would like to place as many rogues as we can into raids and help you with your quest to obtain the ultimate rogue status symbol, space is limited. If you've not yet applied on the guild forums to be a part of a raiding team, time is drawing short. Please contact us today to be part of a raiding team. If you are on a team you automatically get the gem clusters off each boss. Vindication will be helping as many rogues as we can by allowing them to step into our raids and pickpocket Hagara. If you haven't yet done this portion of the quest, contact a raid leader today and get your time set up. We want to help however we can.  |
